How much walking should I do?
You need to walk for at least 30 minutes on five or more days per week to meet the current recommendations for physical activity.

You can walk for 30 minutes in one go or you can break it up to start with eg. do 3 x 10 minute sessions – both count towards your recommended 30 minutes of healthy walking. But remember, build up gradually.
Any amount of walking is good for your health and certainly better than no exercise at all. However to really help your heart it is recommended that you walk at a pace that makes you breathe a little faster, feel warmer and gives you a slightly faster heart beat. Walk more .....feel the difference
